The world seems to so full of opinions and speculation. Especially in difficult times like these, this leads to dogma, political ‘certainties’ and, inevitably, unpopular and ill-conceived rules and regulations. Divisiveness, anger and pain intensify.

Wisdom favours common sense, collaboration and cooperation, the desire to set aside preconceptions, especially in the face of the unknown, and to listen. Trust and empowerment encourage responsibility and maturity. The Emperor Gaotzu of Han followed this wisdom and founded a dynasty that enjoyed nearly 400 years of peace and prosperity …
