The meaning of life is to connect back to God, the Light.

We became disconnected many centuries ago; there have been writings and theories about this moment in human history, in the stories of the Garden of Eden and the Fall of Man. The story itself doesn’t matter; but the understanding does. Something happened whereby we became disconnected from our source, our higher consciousness, and we were then exposed to and able to experience and project both good and evil.
Our life purpose now is to find this connection back to God again. We all have a deep innate desire for this connection, subconsciously if not consciously. We will do whatever we can to try to rediscover this connection whether through helping others, seeking fame, materialism, feeding or suppressing our ego, drugs, alcohol, altruism etc. without necessarily being always fully aware that some of these paths are paths of righteousness and some are evil.
We have to truly understand that the forces of good and evil are very real, affect us constantly, and are both external and internal to us. This is happening to all of us, this eternal battle is playing out in our daily lives, often without us being aware of it. No matter what race, religion, gender, we are all travelling along this same path.
Some of us may have gone further on our paths than others, but we are all navigating through our lives on this same journey.
We need to understand and accept that it is our own acFons and intentions that either bring us closer to God, or further away. No church, temple or guru can do this for us. It is only we ourselves who can make this happen.
You are the one with this power; you just may not be able to see it yet!
Everything you are searching for is already within you. Every good deed brings you closer to God (the Light) and every action out of ego (darkness) whether it be anger, fear, jealousy is taking you further away.
Our ultimate tests on earth are all guiding us to a life of enlightenment or destruction. It is up to us to choose the path of enlightenment.
