Of course, when the storms hit, as they are doing today, we have to protect those we love and ourselves as a priority. At the same time, we have to realise that most of the storms today are the result of our own past selfishness and behaviour. Climate change, CO2 pollution, fires, flooding, rising ocean levels, pandemics, refugees, wars, abuse, torture etc are all linked to our actions. They are the mirror of our thoughts and actions. ‘We sow what we reap’. That is the Law of Cause and Effect. It is immutable. If we want to calm the storms we have to calm ourselves and work on changing the way we think. When we achieve that, the storms will lose their power and they will pass …
