The Way to higher consciousness is not linear, with timelines and milestones to be achieved. In fact, the act of ‘trying’, ‘striving’, ‘forcing’ is counterproductive and ego-derived and we end up getting in our own way. The Way is an internal evolution, based on continual destruction and rebirth, on facing shadows and accepting mortality, on gently discovering and re-discovering love, not dual love with its opposite polarity of hate, but non-dual love, which is absolute, infinite, eternal and now!
