“Life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved.” – Soren Kierkegaard
“Life is either an adventure or nothing at all” – Helen Keller
It is easy, with the constant bombardment of negative news, to believe that life is a dreadful journey to be endured, rather than an exciting and surprising adventure. Negative thinking provokes negative outcomes. Misery attracts misery and becomes self-fulfilling.
But the opposite is also true. Positive thinking creates hope, energy, creativity, the search for alternatives and solutions. Enthusiasm is contagious. So is a smile!
We have so much to wonder at and so much to be grateful for! Not knowing what may happen next may be a cause for anxiety and fear: but it is also a source of excitement and anticipation. If life ceases to be exciting, it is nothing at all!
