We are living in troubled and troubling times. And we have to be very, very vigilant of protecting our freedoms in the face of the increased predisposition, apparently for our own protection, of ever more intrusive controls. It is a very slippery slope from complying to controls that appear sensible to giving away our ability to think, let alone decide for ourselves and eventually our freedom, especially when more and more control seems to be in the hands of fewer and fewer, often unelected, people and the elected have no real say! It’s simply not right: it’s not democratic: and it’s very dangerous!
